I’m Nicole Mark. I live in the beautiful Southeast Seminole Heights neighborhood of Tampa, Florida, with the loves of my life–my three adopted dogs, Penelope, Parker, and Cleo.
I work full-time as a data analyst at Aspen RxHealth, teach yoga occasionally, do COVID-19 testing research with colleagues from the Idaho State University College of Pharmacy and CPESN Idaho, and write sporadically.
My interests include, well, nearly everything. But if I had to narrow it down, the ones currently at the top of the list are yoga, tarot, astrology, how our food choices impact the planet and its creatures, music (a recent obsession is creating Spotify playlists for my boyfriend Angel and best friend Nicole C.–I am not sure they like them, but I am sure they’re afraid of me), literature (particularly magical realism), mental health policy and advocacy (#endthestigma), vegan baking, and podcasts. So many podcasts. I am a certfiable data geek and Tableau Certified Desktop Specialist (#datafam), so I spend a LOT of time at the computer computing fancy statistics in Python, exploring datasets in R with ggplot2 and other packages, and creating visually appealing, insightful, and impactful data visualizations. (Check out my Tableau Public profile or the Data Visualizations page on this site, which are always a work in progress.)
In our sparse downtime, the pups and I like to explore the Tampa Bay area’s dog parks, beaches, and vegan eateries with our human and dog friends.
